Proceedings for Euro-Asia Conference on Environment and Corporate Social Responsibility: Tourism and Management Session

At present, the global tourism industry develops rapidly and shows a clear tendency to become a pillar sector in global economy. In order to promote responsible and sustainable tourism management, „The Euro-Asia conference on Corporate Social Responsibility and Environmental Management - the Tourism and Management Session“ was held in Tianjin P. R. China. The conference was jointly organized by the IMRE program of TU Bergakademie Freiberg from Germany; and the Tourism Management College of Tianjin University of Finance and Economics, from China. As the proceedings of the conference, this book contributes to academic literature by presenting recent research findings of more than 20 researchers in tourism management. Papers in the book discuss international tourism management from the perspectives of tourism planning, eco-tourism, hospitality, knowledge management, corporate environmental citizenship, and tourism education. As a pioneering work about Euro-Asian cooperation on sustainable tourism management, this book may become a guideline for responsible future tourism management.
