More about the book

The Third International Workshop on OpenMP, IWOMP 2007, took place in Beijing, China, continuing its tradition as a premier venue for learning about OpenMP and engaging with its users and developers. The workshop provided a platform for sharing practical experiences and research related to OpenMP. A total of 28 submissions were received in response to the call for papers, each evaluated by three reviewers, with additional reviews for some. Ultimately, 22 papers were accepted for the proceedings, including 14 full papers and eight short papers, which were presented at the workshop alongside poster demonstrations. Papers were assessed based on originality, innovation, readability, and relevance to the audience. Due to the workshop's limited scope and the high number of submissions, only 50% were included in the final program. The IWOMP 2007 agenda also featured keynote and banquet speakers, including Trevor Mudge, Randy Brown, and Sanjiv Shah, recognized for their significant contributions to the field. Additionally, a tutorial session and labs were part of the event, enhancing the overall experience for attendees.
