As a designer of jewellery, Ted Noten prefers the unconventional, producing striking, intelligent and sometimes ironic work. He cut up the body of a Mercedes Benz, reworking the pieces into a stunning collection of brooches, designed a tiara for Princess Maxima and given the client the autonomy of designing their own piece of jewellery through chewing on a stick of chewing gum.
