This third volume on Emerging Web Services Technologies presents the proceedings of the 3rd Workshop on Emerging Web Services Technology 2008 (WEWST’08), held alongside the 6th European Conference on Web Services (ECOWS’08) in Dublin, Ireland, in November 2008. The workshop emphasizes research contributions that push the boundaries of Web Services technologies, aiming to provide early exposure and feedback to foster original ideas within the Web Services community. The diverse tools, techniques, and technological solutions showcased at WEWST share a common goal: advancing current research by introducing innovative, sometimes controversial concepts. This edition includes 6 full papers and 3 short papers, highlighting the collaborative effort of authors who contributed to the preparation of these proceedings and engaged in dynamic discussions during the workshop.
