The first monograph created by Marieta Chirulescu (b. Sibiu, Romania 1974) is published in conjunction with her solo exhibition at Kunsthalle Basel, which opened in September 2010. The book works with the play of closeness and distance, reflecting the procedures of Chirulescu's art as well as the question of how to adequately represent a past exhibition.
