More about the book
In this historical psychological study will be attempted to describe the “psychology” (scientia de anima) of Albertus Magnus at his most important greek, latin, arab, jewish and contemporary sources, based on psychological central themes, such as brain, perception, memory, imagination, dream, sexuality, theories of temperament etc. With this will be noticeable that Albert was an unjustly forgotten “psychologist” and “intellectual” of the Middle Ages, whose specific conditions of socialization will be likewise made aware in this study and which, according to the statements of the author, was the first “psychologist” of Cologne and Central Europe.
