More about the book
The contents of the present volume issue from the conference Greek and Latin from an Indo-European Perspective 3 (GLIEP 3), held at the Comenius University of Bratislava, July 8th-10th 2010. The conference was planed and intended as a sequel to the successful 2005 and 2007 GLIEP 1 and 2 conferences, held at the University of Cambridge and the University of Oslo respectively. The papers contained in this volume cover a wide variety of topics within the field of Greek and Latin linguistics. They illustrate an increasing interest in the linguistic history of the classical languages. The editors hope that the GLIEP conferences with their focus on the linguistic history of the classical languages will be continued as a meeting platform for Indo-Europeanists and Classical Philologists in the following years.
