This work is addressed to those scholars interested in the history of medicine and particularly in Galen's works. By compiling the main bibliographical references produced from 1962 to 2012, the authors aim to explore how modern scholarship has used Galen's legacy in a number of fields: history of medicine, philosophy or Classics are some of the disciplines in which the impact of the works of Galen is still present. The contribution is meant to highlight that Galen's works constitute an important influence in the development of current and modern theories and methodologies in such fields.
