Analysis of agricultural field trials considering spatial and, or temporal correlations

More about the book
The objective of this study was to compare the analysis of different agricultural field trials by using spatial and/or temporal analysis with classical analysis methods. To achieve this objective, the analysis of three different classes of trials will be discussed. - Simulation study and uniformity trial: to investigate the nature of spatial dependency that includes two components – positive covariance and the competition effect. - Multi-environment trials: to take into account the possible spatial variation within trials and the variance heterogeneity between trials. - Long-term trials: to identify spatial and temporal correlation structures and possible combinations of spatial-temporal correlations.
