Skulpturen in Marl

More than eighty sculptures in Marl city centre plus the outstanding collection of the Skulpturenmuseum are the foundation of this comprehensive presentation, along with new works by Bogomir Ecker, Jan Scharrelmann, Selma Gültoprak, and Pia Janssen, as part of the Skulptur 2015 project. Prior to Emscherkunst in the coming year and the sculpture projects in Münster in 2017, the exhibition contributes to the discussion of concepts in ‘art in public spaces’, reflecting the current perception of sculpture.
