This study explores the relevance of serious games in adult education. In recent times learning success and competence building have become a very crucial factor for all kinds of facets in life and in the business world. This study therefore, adopted a multidisciplinary approach, so as to better understand the different theoretical nuances, which inform about learning and competence building as one of the aspect of the knowledge management construct. Against this backdrop, the study engaged a case study research approach. The research methodology consisted of data collection, analysis (comparing and contrasting primary sources in light of data collected), interpretation and validation. Four forms of data collection were employed: Qualitative interview, questionnaire, written tests and observation instruments.
