More about the book

Zusammenfassung: Since the 1960s, Klaus Staudt (b. 1932) held an important position within constructivist Concrete Art. For his reliefs and objects made with wood or Plexiglas, he chooses the basic forms of the cube and the square, which he combines and varies to produce light, shadow, space and motion. He creates transparent pictorial spaces, which, in addition to their clear, constructivist visual language, also reveal the moment of motion and can thus be interpreted on various levels. 00Exhibition: 'Klaus Staudt / Horizonte', (04.12.2016-19.03.2017) Leopold-Hoesch-Museum, Düren, Germany
