“Christina“ is my third and so far my last piece written for a band. All those compositions are very different in style, “Christina” and “Walzer” being tonal. This last piece reminds of a summer festival maybe with a turning carousel. Being written in 3/4, it has also the character of a waltz. The instruments of the band are the following: Flute, Clarinet in Sib, 3 Saxes (S-A-T), Trumpets in Sib, Flicorno Mib, Flicorno Sib(Bombardino), Bariton(Euphonium or Trombone), Basso (Tuba), Percussions(Cassa, Tamburo, Piatti). Printed score was made on an Atari ST using Notator and HP Deskjet Plus back in 1992. A. K.
