More about the book
While much of the world's attention focused on whether computer chips would function, 100-plus outdoor and nature photographers chose locations for their beauty, and also for their special, personal significance, for a one-day photo shoot on January 1, 2000. They provide captions, including the location, and impressions, reflections, or emotions experienced at that moment. The images appear in longitudinal order, beginning at Fiji just west of the International Date Line and proceeding westward. The project was conceived and directed by Tefft, who has background in journalism and law. 11x11. Annotation c. Book News, Inc., Portland, OR (booknews.com)
