After 15 years of archaeological research and the publication of the excavation results, the finds from Waldgirmes are presented to the general public for the first time. The new permanent exhibition in the Saalburg Roman Fort, a part of the Archaeological State Museum of Hesse, displays precious items, a selection of everyday objects, and as a highlight of the display, the gilded horse head from a bronze equestrian statue that originally stood on the Forum of Waldgirmes.
