The international motor show in Frankfurt 2019 was conspicuously marked by ultimate unimaginativeness and glowing dazzle: cars seemed to mimic Christmas trees. Apparently, oversized, light-flooded and of course, gasoline-driven turbo jumbo jets for the road compensated for the carmakers' bleak „vision“ in terms of continuing to cultivate a century of antiquated thinking.
