More about the book
The Medusa Glass Museum in Gaziantep houses about 500 glass vessels from the 6th century BC to the 12th century AD. They were gathered in the area of Adana and Yozgat close to the cradle of glass technology in the Eastern Mediterranean. Most of the vessels are of Roman dating; in that time it was very common to place objects in graves for the afterlife. Thus the glasses were well protected and survived thousands of years intact and undamaged.
