More about the book
The integration of a large number of photovoltaic (PV) systems leads to new challenges in ensuring the required power quality. The objective of this thesis is the analysis of the responses flicker and harmonics of PV systems on the electrical energy supply system and the development of mathematical models to describe them. Furthermore, a simulation model to integrate unknown, additional reactive power flows of PV systems including a stated power factor of one into load flow simulation programs, to reproduce the real grid parameters with a higher accuracy, will be introduced.
