Laser consolidation of ITO nanoparticles for the generation of thin conductive layers on transparent substrates

More about the book

Transparent conductive layers are an essential component of devices like solar cells or displays. Today these layers are typically generated by physical vapour deposition methods. In this work an alternative method of layer generation by nanoparticle deposition and subsequent laser consolidation under ambient atmosphere is investigated. The aim is to provide a method compatible with modern production techniques such as printed electronics and roll-to-roll processing.
