This adventure plants the seeds for future conflicts, including the Storm King's War and the Norn Queen Utuk'ku's assault on humanity. Ultimately, Kes must confront his beliefs and risk everything to save Hakatri, questioning whether his efforts can alter the destructive path set in motion by Ineluki's boast.
