Each one of Serhiy Osoka's short stories is a little great story of an ordinary man, who would have been noticed by no one on this planet, if not for the attentive master of the word. Since he does not just write, but in a few strokes Osoka creates a three-dimensional picture of human life: it seems that if you listen closely, you hear the rustling of reeds, splashing fish in the pond, falling apples, creaking old doors mingling human sighs with the wind, muffled laughter or sobs. And you can even smell the scents - for one moment they are thick and dizzyingly dense, and then volatile and transparent, like a flower fragrance.
