Bristol Seven Decades Of Sound, is a book that accompanies the 2018 exhibition of the same name at M Shed, Bristol. Compiled by Bristol music expert Richard Jones, it is also a stand-alone reference book. It contains a timeline of the key moments in Bristol's music history from 1957 to the present day plus profiles of almost 100 bands, musicians, DJs and producers who have made a significant impact on Bristol music from Russ Conway to Massive Attack. The book also features images of artefacts gathered for the M Shed exhibition and a Top 40 of the most significant tracks from artists as diverse as Black Roots to Bananarama.
