This book is a compilation of 40 sayings narrated by ‘Aisha, may God be pleased with her, from the Prophet Muhammad, peace to him. The narration of prophetic speech is among one of the most important tasks in Islam. Without the narration of prophetic speech each generation would be more and more confused as to what it means to live an ethical and moral life in accordance with the pleasure of God. ‘Aisha is one of the great hadith narrators who keep the speech of the prophet alive by memorizing his words during his lifetime and teaching them to others after his death.
