Intergalactic cruiseliner Infinity 8, traveling between the Milky Way and Andromeda, day 15. The ship is immobilized by a cluster of unidentified artifacts and debris the size of an entire solar system. The captain, a Tonn Shär able to explore several parallel timelines by generating temporal loops, triggers Protocol 8 and summons his best agents to investigate.
