It tells the anguished story of a mother who is reunited with her son, born out of wedlock and raised in a Roman Catholic Church institution, and a much maligned priest who returns to the island his reputation finally vindicated. It all takes place around Malta's fabled Grand Harbour where for more than a century Britain kept her fleets. Oliver Friggieri is an acclaimed novelist with numerous international publications to his name.
