A photographic journey around the city of Dundee and the surrounding county of Angus that aims to capture their differing characters and illustrate the principal landmarks and places of interest. Such is the importance of the historic events that took place here that Angus is branded as 'Scotland's Birthplace'. The variety in this part of Scotland is extreme, from the country's fourth city to the wonderfully scenic Angus Glens. In between is a large proportion of Scotland's best agricultural land which creates yet another type of photogenic landscape. Illustrated with over 100 colour photographs, most of which have been taken especially for this purpose.
