Five Boys

Set against the backdrop of World War II, the story follows Bobby's evacuation from London to a secluded Devonshire village, where he faces suspicion and hostility from the locals. The village, largely populated by women, children, and a group of boys who believe Bobby is a Nazi spy, becomes a battleground of fear and intrigue. Central to the tension is the enigmatic Bee King, whose mysterious presence captivates the villagers, particularly the boys, adding a layer of psychological complexity to Bobby's struggle for acceptance.
