Versatile Simmons, a playwright, songwriter, co-director of Ireland's The Poet's House, and founder of the literary magazine The Honest Ulsterman, has written a new collection of poetry. The poems are anchored in the mainstream of poetry in English from Wyatt and Shakespeare to the present day. This collection is entertainment for readers who enjoy singing as well as reciting Irish verse. The author has toured in the States (with his guitar) and is married to the Irish poet, Janice Fitzpatrick.
