Archie Blake has invented a way of transporting items from one place to another by taking and incorporating the best from various other technologies but has only managed it on a small scale. He has tried to get additional funding from entrepreneurs on the Dragon's Den programme but has been disappointed by their response. The story starts on the morning after the programme was shown on TV and follows what happens when he gets funding by a rich businessman with an interest in matter transportation. Not everyone is pleased to see this type of technology, as is proven by the two brutal but inept villains who keep on cropping up. The evolution of his invention into something which not only results in a huge medical discovery, but earns the undying gratitude of the president-elect of America, will make an engrossing and gripping science fantasy story.
