This beginner's guide to medieval Italian longsword training covers sword selection, warm-ups, and fencing techniques. With detailed drills and descriptions, it has been a standard reference since 2004, although it has been largely succeeded by The Medieval Longsword (2014) for technical aspects. It's still an excellent general training resource.
