Twelve-year-old twins Felix and Rike encounter Phantanimal, an ancient shapeshifter who warns them that the world of mythical creatures is in danger. To renew the protective spell, they must find "The Magical Book of Spells" while facing the evil wolf Siegwulf, who kidnaps Rike. A young witch named Nina joins them on their quest.
