The Courage of Elfina

Elfina, a twelve-year-old girl from Paraguay, is sent to live with a distant relative in the city for a better education. However, her hopes are shattered when she becomes a domestic servant in Canada, far from her home and dreams of school. As she faces inappropriate advances from her uncle, Elfina realizes she must muster the courage to escape her dire situation.
