La belle Hélène Overture

The overture, often misattributed, was composed by conductor Edmund Haensch for a Berlin production of the 1864 Offenbach operetta. This edition features a reduced-format score expertly edited by Clark McAlister, originally published in 2006. The study score is presented alongside a large conductor's score and orchestral parts, ensuring accessibility for performers. Dr. McAlister has reclaimed his copyrights, allowing Serenissima to offer this finely engraved version, highlighting the overture's well-known melodies.
