This study conducts a content analysis of gender portrayal in Pixar's ten feature-length films, analyzing the ten most prominent characters from each, totaling 99 characters. It examines various variables, including physical traits, authority, labor roles, and personality. Notably, the findings reveal no significant differences between male and female characters across most categories. The study concludes by discussing implications for future research on gender representation in animation.
