More about the book
The narrative follows Donald Gunn, a Scottish emigrant who made significant contributions to the community in Victoria, Australia, after arriving in 1854. His roles included serving as a Councillor and President of Ballaratshire, as well as participating in the Ballarat and District Agricultural and Pastoral Society. He was also a founding member of the Buninyong Highland Society and served as a Justice of the Peace. Notably, his son, John Alexander Gunn, is recognized for developing an anthrax vaccine suited for Australia. The family's lineage traces back to the first known Gunn in history.
