Focusing on a unique twenty-eight foot wooden Catboat named Ghost, this book chronicles its history within the Barnegat Bay racing class, established in 1922. Following a decline during the Great Depression, the class experienced a revival in 1980 with the construction of new A Cats. Ghost, built by David Beaton, achieved remarkable success, winning seven consecutive Bay championships from 1994 to 2000.
