More about the book
The plight of refugee children is marked by severe human rights violations both in their home countries and in their host nations. Comprising nearly half of the global refugee population, these children face unique challenges that are often overlooked. Beyond the initial trauma that drives them to flee, they encounter ongoing risks such as forced labor, lack of education, physical and sexual abuse, and militarization in refugee camps. This paper highlights the urgent need for recognition of their rights and tailored protections to address their vulnerabilities.
