The biography chronicles the life of Edgar Wallace, a prolific writer who transitioned from various jobs to become a celebrated author. After serving in the Infantry in South Africa, he was inspired to write by Rudyard Kipling. Wallace faced early publishing challenges, eventually establishing his own press. His later years were marked by health struggles, leading to his death in 1932, but his legacy endures through the annual Edgar Wallace Award.
