More about the book
The study investigates the mechanical properties of conventional composite resins and a modified version incorporating zirconium nanoparticles. These composite resins are utilized for dental restorations, enhancing both function and aesthetics. The research involved filling molds with composite increments, polymerizing them with a halogen light curing unit, and subsequently evaluating their mechanical properties after a controlled incubation period. Results indicated that the addition of zirconium nanoparticles significantly improved force, elongation, compressive strength, and hardness, suggesting these new materials outperform traditional options.
