Fool's Paradise

The narrative centers on Milly Morton, whose impulsive act of destroying Anton Drew's astronomical plates hinders his efforts to warn the world about an impending cosmic disaster. As nature spirals out of control with bizarre weather, rampant vegetation, and oversized insects, Drew struggles to gain credibility for his theories. With the help of friends Ken and Thayleen West, he races against time to persuade government officials of the looming threat, but it may already be too late to avert catastrophe.
