Empirical research in the utility industry demonstrates a positive relationship among these factors, with absorptive capability having a direct impact on technology adoption. The study emphasizes that effective technology adoption relies on strong absorptive capability, supported by the other factors. Additionally, a 3D technology adoption organization matrix is proposed, outlining eight levels of technology adoption within firms.
