More about the book
The study investigates how cadmium and salicylic acid interact to affect the growth and physiological traits of two wheat genotypes, Sehar and S-24, under normal and cadmium-stressed conditions. Conducted as a pot experiment, it assesses various cadmium concentrations alongside a fixed salicylic acid level to mitigate toxicity. Results indicate that cadmium significantly hinders growth parameters, including shoot and root length, fresh and dry weights, leaf count, and total leaf area, highlighting the detrimental effects of cadmium on wheat development.
