More about the book
Set in the 17th century, the narrative centers on María de Agreda, a humble Spanish nun who gained immense popularity across Europe. Nobility and royalty sought her wisdom as she claimed to bilocate to what is now the Southwestern USA, where she converted numerous Indian tribes to Catholicism before the arrival of Spanish soldiers and priests. Notably, she preached in their languages and gifted them religious items, reportedly accomplishing this around 500 times. Her extraordinary life and missionary work are well-documented historical facts.
