Set in the impending era of the Ohio & Kentucky Railroad, the story follows Matt Berry, who resists the railroad's encroachment on his struggling stagecoach business in the town of Nopoint. As he battles against corporate greed, he hires two cowpokes, Jim and Brad, for protection against the railroad's ruthless fixer, Daniel Blanche. Complications arise with the involvement of a captivating woman, leading to a web of murder, betrayal, and chaos.
