The thesis explores critical aspects of quark-gluon plasma, focusing on the measurement of third-order harmonic flow through two-particle correlations in gold-gold collisions. It distinguishes between flow and non-flow contributions, shedding light on the hydrodynamic properties of the plasma. Additionally, the research examines long-range longitudinal correlations in deuteron-gold collisions, addressing the applicability of hydrodynamics in smaller systems and the potential formation of quark-gluon plasma in these contexts.
