Demons to Doughnuts

Set in the whimsical Kids' Republic, a land governed by babies, the first novella follows President Baby Bumkey's quest to find a jelly doughnut baker who has turned ten and left the realm. Three children and a cat embark on an adventurous journey to secure the baker for a crucial state banquet. In stark contrast, the second novella delves into a chilling tale of a casket-maker in nineteenth-century New England, who faces a sinister curse from vengeful gypsies that he must break to survive.
