Potable Water: Practical Treatment Guide

Focusing on potable water treatment, this dissertation explores critical aspects of raw water quality testing and process design for effective water purification. The author, an experienced consulting engineer, developed a user-friendly Excel-based software model for designing treatment processes suitable for most surface waters. Highlighting the importance of water in various applications and its necessity for human survival, the work addresses the challenges of selecting appropriate technologies and configurations to meet South African drinking water standards.
