Preservation Practices in India

Focusing on the conservation of architectural heritage in India, this work investigates the roles of the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) and INTACH, analyzing their legal frameworks and mandates. The study delves into the Jaisalmer Fort conservation project, highlighting practical, social, and legal challenges faced by both agencies.
