Inspired by JFK's call to action in 1961, he embarked on a 50-mile hike, and later, at age 61, he hiked 61 miles down Highway 61 with his grandson. To celebrate his 70th birthday, he completed a 70-mile hike, showcasing his enduring dedication to both family and his principles.
