The Forgotten Family [Standard Large Print]

Set in 1890 Whitechapel, the story follows Queenie Bonner, who is taken from her impoverished family and renamed Eleanor by her new adoptive parents, Albert and Mary Warrender. Initially frightened and longing for her siblings, especially her favorite brother Harry, she gradually adjusts and comes to love her new life. However, after Mary's death, Albert reveals her true origins, prompting Eleanor to embark on a quest to reconnect with her long-lost family.
